Your 30-minute consultation includes:
This assessment, which does not diagnose, does provide objective data describing your memory, executive function, and visiospatial skills. The first assessment also establishes a baseline, serving as a preliminary check to see if further assessment is needed.
The cost is $50, payable upon booking. We are unable to bill insurance for this assessment, but we will provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance or health plan spending account. Please note that no-shows will not be refunded. If the pharmacists determines that you are not a candidate for the Cognivue assessment, your payment will be refunded.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you please do so at least a day before your appointment as this helps with our staffing. You can call us at 501-708-4320. Refunds are issued minus a $5 administration fee.
This tool for evaluating perceptual and memory function has undergone a clinical valuation study on individuals aged 55 to 95 years, so this is the ideal age group for a Cognivue assessment.
